What people say and what they do are pretty different. Women know that unless they have money and social skills their chances of marrying more than once aren't good, so they are a lot more picky. They also know the one with the first marriage is the one they're more likely to have kids with, so it's a pretty big decision. Ruling some out before they get emotional is key.
Men say they aren't picky, but who will get in bed or a first date with is way different than who they'd be with for a year versus who goes home to meet the family and set up a life with. When they go with the latter, then it's way different . So I'm not sure about those numbers.
Most people in the end drop some hoped for features that they've realized weren't that important.
