The thing he did that was pretty bad that evening few talk about is how much attention his unfortunate moment took away from the biggest movie from the Deaf Community in 40 years, CODA.
It's nice that he can move on and still easily make a film that most go to, but deaf actors and storytellers get far fewer chances. Everything I've heard from him since is all about him, Chris and his family which seem to be on the mend.
I don't know if I'll see the movie. I've read about Peter in high school in Virginia and won't forget the photos. I may look into this later but will not see it in a theater. Holidays are hard on me, so it's light fare during this time.
