No, if you participate in doing something wrong it's DAMN well your business. And if you make someone named Karen feel unsafe to be called by their own name, that's ABUSE. Normalizing abuse is never OK.

Over 1 milion women US should not have to pay for the actions of a few , many of which they have no control over. This is the same as how you don't want to be judged for the worst behavior of all men, all women or all black people. You want to be judged for you and you don't want anyone to use those words that describes you as an epithet. Just because people normalize something doesn't make it right.

As for people who would cause you harm, blame those people for what they do and those near them for what they allow, but not random people. That's irresponsible mean and childish.
