Is it a lack of self-belief, or is it that you've been the best person YOU know how to be, feel good about that, but are contantly being pushed and attacked for the things you are not or for being good at something that isn't commonly acceped in your world? I know I'm a lot of awesome things, but many neurotypicals are taught to tolerate or not tolerate and not to love what I am. It isn't until they see that I'm constantly meeting needs they didn't know they had that they start to see that I belong with them in any way.
