In the US I have known men and women who have gravitated to particular races. I don't think it's fair to call it a fetish though. One of them is an engineer as well and on the spectrum. He finds black people more honest than their European counterparts. If something is wrong, there are no surprises. Maybe those percieved as having aa fetish have found similar affinities when they go for the same one every time, for culture, which is fine!

Otherwise I'd think it normal to assume you just met a lady you connected with, nothing more, nothing less. And this is from a high tech redneck from Virginia!
