Pregnancy is considered a "temporary or situational disability" , some simply put it in the rules for riding with no law behind it that priority seating includes pregnant women , seeing it as a danger to the baby to have her trying to stay upright with excess weight, etc. I'm good with that. I've seen DC bus drivers enforce it before, stopping the bus or throwing someone off.
