IMO Toxic positivity is when when someone uses these positive philosophies to control people round them without regard for that person, to dismiss their probems, deny their feelings and to make them try to ignore those feelings and not act on the meaning of those bad feelings. We have to face and solve problems sooner or later for the most part, and sooner is usually better than later.
