If the Israelis were trying to kill as many Gazans as possible, it would have been done in a couple of days because Israel has the arms to do so. They could have leveled the whole place and levels below. In fact they've had the opportunity to do that in every battle against Gaza. Either you don't know what genocide is, or your intentionally lying about it.

You cannot have a population explode at the level that it has over the last 20 years in Gaza and have a genocide at the same time. And 25,000 or so dead is not even a drop in the bucket compared to other Wars. This is only a war, you're using the word genocide incorrectly because you've been reading so much Progressive stuff you haven't stopped to think about what it is. You're using inflammatory language like genocide and murder because you feel sympathy and rightly so for the people who are in between Israel and Hamas.

But Hamas is also between the people and their well-being. When they are gone all the aid money will go toward helping the people of Gaza, not filling evil people’s pockets. People will have an opportunity for a life because they will no longer be dedicated to death and war but for the lives the young people protested against Hamas for a few years ago.

If you want to look for genocide places like Sudan, Congo, and Ukraine all qualify with several hundred thousand dead, enough that there will actually be an impediment to those people recovering their populations anytime soon. There's actually a dearth now of young men in Ukraine due to the war and who knows when that will end. If you care about genocide or so many people dying, look there, or at Syria, where the death tolls are actually quite large as well. Or is it different if Muslims do this to Muslims?

Israel originally had only been planning to be done in a couple of months, but now they've been forced to pull back and slow down to try to slow down the death toll to a trickle. I think this will mean certain death to their hostages, some of whom are Americans which I noticed you said nothing about.

It's always unfortunate when people die in war, and very sad, and I appreciate your empathy on the matter. I think you should also appreciate that most of what you've been seeing regarding this war has been cell phone footage by Hamas members. They've been literally putting the war in your face so that you feel like you're next to it, and it's causing you to feel much worse about it than you do about these other Wars where there is actual genocide.

Further, Palestinian militants have held too hard of a hold on their culture as a people. Since Balfour, militant Palestinians have disrupted several other governments besides Israel with their activities. Lebanon, Kuwait, Egypt and especially Jordan (see Black September) have faced huge issues with such militants and as a result of not being able to easily tell the good people from the bad, are not allowing Palestinians to come in any further, even for a temporary status. Many more are stuck from previous years from migrating and becoming full citizens of other places, and are kept for generations in “refugee camps” that are functionally ghetto cities now, without the rights or advantages of emigrating. This must change and Hamas must be disarmed, and Palestinians as a whole must dedicate themselves to good citizenship and self-empowerment, learning to be good neighbors instead.

Beware of any nation that has more missile launchers than bomb shelters (the closest they have are terror tunnels) , and whose government steals aid trucks meant for others, and shoots children who dare to eat first.
