I see some women being able to bank on their appearance as being no different than men being able to fall back on having the superior physical strength for a handyman type job or lay carpet or whatever which can also pay well. With a few more skills developed they can own such businesses and have others do the work while they organize it and get extra pay. If they can share knowledge about it in a way that many appreciate, so their salary can go up. Just now there's slowly developing more societal respect for women who do this.
