I lived with a man who made less than I did. One area we never argued about was actually money. He had more experience thriving with less, therefore he kept the books, our spending became more intentional, I just happened to have a higher paycheck. Religion was the issue between us. The fact is, it helps a relationship a lot if a man knows what his assignments are and agrees to them. Then he has a way that he can be her "safe space."
