I had heard she went back on the apology the same evening she brought the expert in.

She talked about the deaths of millions of people including members of my family who I know by name and face, as if they were nothing more to be concerned about than lab rats that smelled bad, because it was "just two groups of White people". More like a giant group decimating a tiny minority.

I would have expected a lot more empathy from any kind of show host, and definitely from her who claims to be an ally. No, I don't think she knows that much about Jewish people or about any people who don't neatly fit into racial boxes. And I think she was suspended because she went back on her statement. McCain I never understood or cared about. Whoopi I had expectations for.

Ally in general of Jews? She's generally not wanted people to be harrassed or killed, but I wouldn't go so far as to call her an ally. That's another level. And she kind of showed us, that she was happy to use our name to get ahead, but couldn't be bothered to learn about us. I don't care about her suspension, but I do care that she seems, when push comes to shove, indifferent.
