I don't think it matters whether you think she's a Feminist Icon or not, but whether Feminists in general, do. We are now being much more honest about how often older men manipulate younger women and she was very sheltered and to her, wealth and power was a sign of a hero, now, not so much. She's worked consistently to make good and to help people from her failings and what her singular situation taught her. That's all we need to know.
