I do remember being called arrogant at work for effectively defending attempts to submarine me at my job. It stuck for a long time.

I do notice that when I let my Autistic college professor voice come out, no one disputes my logic and my work gets respected, but they mysteriously don't like me enough to promote me. But if I'm "too nice," the logic gets ignored.
