I disagree with this. I have never put how much a guy made on my list of priorities, this being said I want whatever he does do to be meaningful. I know many women like me, but men are often not comfortable with the idea of the woman making more. And MY income and my career don't tend to be even a minor point of interest. I don't like it that I'm supposed to be interested in what the guy does but 8/10 times he doesn't care about my activities inside or outside of work.
