I didn't see it that way because you didn't use likely numbers on top of the atrocities there to make the point just that they vowed to repeat it. To illustrate how the arms use and attack planning had improved, and the weapons acquired and how likely that was to ramp up if nothing was done into tens of thousands or even a hundred thousand dead if they were allowed to continue attacking.
This makes a problem with proportionality. If you use that, the opponent never stops and has room to gain power. It's an ugly business and war is an ugly business. Better to do it once than 10 times and the Israelis have dealt with this many times now. 10/7 was the worst but far from the only instance.
I believe the war is close to done now.
I also didn't see that you made a point that if all the times you mentioned had happened on October 8th then Israel wouldn't have been left to do a military response but leadership of Hamas could have been found and arrested where they were and few people would have died by comparison.
