I am in many ways similar, and also just dark enough that I'm often not considered White by White people and it was not so for any Jews in my life growing up.

Now I see moments of privilege and moments of the opposite and most of the power I'm accused of having is conditional. It's quite annoying to have these coloristic people spell everything out that way without listening to people's experiences, and even more so with all the recent anti-Jewish stuff out now. And then if I say anything in my defense I'm accused of being racist and worse. So many false things are being said and people just nod without checking if it kind of sounds right. I'm certain this is some kind of media push to separate more powerful minorities from less powerful ones. Even if we do have power for our size, our size is still very small so we can still be bullied.
