I am far less jaded now than I was when I was young, because for me, men have improved both with evolution and with time. I got the trauma early and grew more happy as I grew up, because social rules have improved to accept me and many men have learned to be better. There are tons of women like me. It's a stereotype you're working from.

I find most people know better what they want by middle age and approach differently. They are less likely to try just to try.

No, many men still seek to control. And younger women are often quick to "cancel." Its a complaint, you know.

30 with 24, I don't consider that big a difference, and if fmen really do mature more slowly ( not as much as it used to be). 36 to 26 is better since she's over 25, but that's not as mature as it used to be, but it's not a scary age difference either. Much more than that and her much younger... then--- there might be issues.
