I am also AuDHD and in the deep thinker category. I do feel like I have trouble linking pieces of my life together unless they're a safety issue. But it comes together if it type it out. self-reflection is there in everyone I know like me, but it doesn't look the same as an NT, so I think it's a rulebook thing.
