Great advice. A fiancée I once had was trying to help his work friend figure out what to do in her relationship. She'd been upset regularly for close to a week. I was not comfortable with the texts because they seemed frequent and later than I thought they should be.

Because I didn’t want to isolate either of them from each other out of respect, I didn't talk about that. Since I knew her name I decided to ask how she was. He told me over a meal and we decided to invite her to the house for the evening. We helped solve her issue together and instead of having him possibly making a mistake while trying to comfort her, we did what was best for everyone and everyone was happy. Love first. It's courageous to do this when you are scared.
