As far as I can see, if I've dealt with men who weren't full of themselves, I had no such trouble. If they weren't used to having all the say or nearly all in what would happen, I have no friction because everyone's needs are at least considered and making join decisions isn't hard. Maybe the "rigidity" goes the other way.
