A small percentage of people do get early grey hair. It's expensive and time-consuming to color it, and the grey color tends to be more regular than someone whose color changes over a long time making it prettier. There's been a general push now not to hide your age as much, men did it en masse when the pandemic was on, and some women started to participate as well.
