Angel Reese was definitely fine, in the right to play as she's meant to. And I agree that she’s being picked on for being AA and being from modest means. I respect her even more for it and she shouldn’t have to defer to anyone. And both women should be free to be fierce competitors without being rated for being ladylike enough. Caitlin DID come out in support of her, saying nothing unusual happened on the court and she's a fan of Angel's.
Angela Bassett, no, same “rules” for everyone, clap for winner, cry in bathroom, it's a tradition, longstanding and may even be part of the formal invite now. The tradition is meant to keep from having a room of stink eyes on video for when 3 (or more) deserving people don't get an award per category. It's not an exception. Wonderful read either way.
